Current membership expires on 31 August 2025 and we encourage members to renew during August to help us to update our records effectively. Previous members who did not renew in 2024/2025 will need to complete an Application Form. If you do not know your membership number please contact the Membership Secretary. Beacon member's log-in has been simplified for the future so that members will, after an initial set-up, be able to log in with the email address they have registered in Beacon as their username, plus a password of their own choosing.
The membership fee for 2025/26 is £10 per member.
To renew please refer to the Renewal letter/email you will receive at the beginning of August 2025. This is prepopulated with the details we currently hold so you can check if they are correct. If they are correct you then have four ways in which you can renew your membership:
- 1 Bank Transfer
Pay by an electronic bank transfer to The Haslemere U3A , Lloyds Bank plc, Haslemere Branch, sort code 30-93-94 : account number 40333568 using the first four letters of your surname and your membership number as reference. Email the Membership Secretary to confirm you have renewed.
- 2 Cheque
Post a cheque, made out to The Haslemere U3A, to the Membership Secretary, 31 Kiln Avenue, Haslemere, Surrey. GU27 1BE. Write your name and membership number on the back of the cheque.
If your details are not correct please correct your details on the form at the bottom of the Renewal Notice and send with your payment - electronic bank transfer or cheque - to the Membership Secretary.
- 3 Pay Online
To Pay online using Credit/Debit card we use PayPal to take your payment. You do not have to join PayPal to pay with your card. You need to Log into the U3A Beacon System: Simply click the link on this page to read the Guidance Notes for full details on how to use Beacon and to pay online. You will receive a confirmation email from PayPal and a confirmation email from the Membership Secretary. Please keep this email as it will take the place of a membership card and you may have to show it at any groups you attend.
- 4 In Person
Come to Enrolment Day to be held at Haslemere Hall, Bridge Street, Haslemere on 9th September. You will be able to pay your subscription fee by cheque or credit/debit card and meet group leaders to sign up for groups.
