This group is for anyone who would like to give something back to Haslemere u3a by volunteering. This webpage will regularly list tasks that need doing such as designing posters, attending events to help promote the u3a, serving teas and coffees, taking on a committee role or starting a new group. See below for the latest vacancies. By registering for this group you do not have to commit to anything - just be willing to help out every now and then when needed. Interested? A POSTER DESIGNER Are you handy with digital graphics? Our committee often needs fresh, eye-catching posters for events and activities. We’d love your help.

EVENT HELPERS - Setting out chairs, making and/or serving teas and coffees, welcoming people. These are just a few examples of what we might need at some of our events. Interested?

SOCIAL MEDIA ORGANISER Are you a social media whizz? We’d love support in making better use of our Facebook page and exploring new platforms to spread the word about Haslemere u3a. This flexible role fits around your existing commitments whilst helping the u3a to connect in fresh, vibrant ways.

MONTHLY COFFEE MORNINGS ORGANISER(S) Do you love meeting new people? Are you the kind of person who enjoys bringing others together? Our popular monthly coffee mornings are looking for a new organiser. We’re searching for someone friendly, organised, and enthusiastic to help keep this warm, welcoming event thriving. If you enjoy planning, chatting, and making others feel at home, we’d love to talk to you about this role.

SOMEONE WITH EXPERIENCE OF TEACHING SPANISH TO BEGINNERS Our Beginners Spanish group is looking for a new Leader. If you think you can help please contact us.

SOMEONE WITH A PASSION FOR MATHS to help lead a Maths 4 Fun Group. The National Third Age Trust organisation has many resources to aid Maths Group Leaders. If you are interested, please get in touch.
