The course is held on Thursday from 10.00 - 12.00, at the Methodist Church in Weyhill, in the Wesley Room. The group will meet weekly and Peter Warren, the tutor, will be in attendance every Thursday.

The Thursday Improvers Group is for any players who are not complete beginners, who wish to learn about the bidding conventions and tactics of the game. In turn the lessons will explain particular aspects of the game such as for example Stayman, Take out double, Exit Transfers. Hands will be played so players will become familiar with using these particular aspects. The atmosphere is friendly and non judgemental!

The next course starts on the 16th April 2026. The duration of the course is 11 weeks without interruption, finishing on the 25th June 2026.
