Would you enjoy getting out and about with your dog in the company of fellow u3a friends?
This group meets once a month on the 3rd Wednesday at 2.00 pm for a friendly, relaxed walk lasting around an hour. Afterwards, there’ll be the opportunity to stay on for refreshments and a chat..
The next official walk will be at 2 pm on Wednesday 16th September. The meeting point will be at the Puttenham Tarn Car Park, Littleworth Rd, The Sands, Farnham GU10 1JH. W3W ///logged.narrates.feasting. Optional trip to a cafe nearby for refreshments - Seale or Elstead. We will walk around the Tarn lake along to General's Pond on a flattish firm forest track with lots of shade and chance for dogs who like water to paddle. There are grazing cattle, which are used to dogs. Puttenham is picturesque with the lakes and surrounding heathland. Look forward to seeing you and your dog (s).
Contact the Group Leader via this page for more information and to let us know that you are coming.
Please include in your message your name, contact details (phone and email) and a contact name and number in case of emergency.
As the group grows, we may add extra walks and even meet on additional days — so it’s a great time to get involved!
We look forward to seeing lots of wagging tails (and happy owners!)
