Are you looking to learn more about gardening or do you already have a little gardening knowledge to share? Welcome to the Gardening Exchange!
The core idea is simple: we meet to share practical tips and ideas, and learn from one another in a friendly, relaxed setting.
Who is it for?
- Complete Novices: If you don't know your perennials from your annuals, or just want to find out gardening basics you will be welcome.
- More Experienced Gardeners: If you have been nurturing a garden for a while, your knowledge will be useful to this group and however, experienced you are, there is always something new to learn.
NB This group is aimed at self-help rather than inviting experts to talk to the group.
What to expect:
- Members will take turns to research what needs doing in a garden each month or perhaps other topics chosen by the group.
- Initially this group will meet in members' homes although there is no obligation to host. As the group grows it may consider moving to a public venue.
- Friendly conversation and informal support
- Opportunities to exchange seeds, cuttings, and tips.
Whether you have an allotment, a garden, or just a few window boxes, your perspective is welcome. Come along, ask questions, share what works for you, and we'll learn together!
