Some resources you may find useful

Arte is a Franco-German TV channel which you can watch on your computer (or laptop connected to TV). It covers cultural matters including History, Cinema, Opera, Theatre, Politics, Science & Tech, Travel, etc… There is no charge, many of the programmes are in French (as opposed to German) and you can choose to have English subtitles (among 6 on offer).

Use Youtube to progress your French.

Search for “Learn French with Elisabeth” on Youtube and you will find many short videos to help you pick up spoken French. She speaks clearly and slowly, and there are also French subtitles provided. Another option: French mornings with Elisa (a different person to the one above!).
