Our group meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of most months at the Grayswood Village Club. We have a slot from 1.45 to 3.45. As of Summer 2026 we will be charging £10 for the first session and £5 per session for the rest of each term to cover the cost of hiring the room at the Club, and beverages and biscuits..

To consider applying to join us, you would be well advised to have been playing recently; maybe at home with the aim of bringing your playing back to the level you might have reached some years ago.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate u3a members who have never or rarely played before. We do not teach guitar but simply show each other what we have learned over the years and give each other encouragement.

At the current time the existing group is full. However, I always like to hear from fellow guitarist and, in the past, people have dropped out with little notice. We will invite potential new members along as guests at certain times of the year for which there will be no charge but, for insurance purposes, such guests must be current members of the Haslemere u3a.
